The Transnational Project Meeting of “POMELO” in Komotini (Greece)

The 2nd Transnational Project meeting of Erasmus+/POMELO (Power of Voice, Melody and Diversity), took place from 3 to 4 of October 2019, in Komotini (Greece). A group of 7 members of the consortium, representing the countries and the partners of the project (PRISM and PMF from Italy, MUS-E from Cyprus, PELICAN from Czech Republic and SAN from Poland), were the guests of Regional Directorate for Primary and Secondary Education (Greece). The meeting agenda comprises of both organisational and financial subjects. The aim of the meeting was to introduce the progress of intellectual outputs, to exchange good practices and to identify successful cases, to monitor the dissemination and the quality assurance. The designing of theaction plan for the coming months were decided from the partners. Within this process, each partner contributed by sharing experiences, activities, methodologies and programmes of its country of origin, in order to find the best solution to improve the opportunities for young people and immigrants to integrate in a different social environment through music.  


  Also, Regional Directorate for Primary and Secondary Education, the host organisation, gave to the partners of the project, the opportunity to discover the eclectic mix of Western and Oriental elements in the city’s daily life, through cultural visits and consortium dinners. Local live music and dances contributed to a stronger engagement among the partners and gave a new air for POMELO activities.
